Chef Stefano Pace
The kitchen brigade is led by Chef Stefano Pace, originally from France, who worked in various Parisian restaurants and then moved to Verona in 1993 where he achieved, in just a few years, the Michelin Star. Valpolicella has always been in his heart: his dishes are impressive for their harmony and territorial expression. He personally selects the primary ingredients and chooses products from the local area: cheeses come from selected Lessinia dairies and undergo the ripening process that gives an extraordinary taste to both Monte Veronese and Cimbro; special cured cuts such as Vinappeso and others refined with Valpolicella and Amarone. He is passionately in love with the wines of Valpolicella land, which he celebrates in his cuisine, particularly in the creation of the traditional Risotto with Amarone produced by Tommasi Viticoltori.

BLINDFOLDED WINE TASTING SCHOOL
The aim is to assess a team’s attention, in particular how well they are able to collect and process information together and use it to achieve the task. The added value of this activity is that information can be gathered using 4 of the 5 senses: sight, taste, smell and touch.

• Duration: 90 min – beginning at 5 p.m.
LUNCH/DINNER WITH BLIND TASTING
The experience begins with a guided tasting of 2 wines where the territory, the production techniques will be explained and the basic notions for wine tasting will be given.
Afterwards, the guests will take a seat at the lunch/dinner tables. Guests will be divided into teams: each table corresponds to a team.
The wines paired with the courses will have the label covered. Based on the knowledge previously acquired, the team will have to compile technical sheets with multiple choice questions for each wine served. At the end of the dinner, our wine expert will decide the winning team, who will be presented with a bottle of Amarone Tommasi.

Verona is so close to the Dolomites that you can reach it in an easy day trip. Getting to the Pordoi Pass using the public transport is rather complicated, but with us you can get there with a convenient private transport, without having to worry about driving or the best way to get there. During the day you will witness poetic views and landscapes that will make you happy and fulfilled. By taking the funicular, you can reach the top of Sass Pordoi (almost 10.000 ft). A local guide will accompany you during the whole excursion and tell you fascinating stories that have been guarded by these beautiful mountains. Our package includes lunch in a mountain hut, where you will taste local products and, perhaps, have a chat with other adventurers. On the way back, it is possible to stop in one of the small towns in the valley, such as Ortisei or Canazei, both very popular during the summer and also in winter, for the ski season. It’s the perfect day, especially during the hot summer days, spending few bracing hours in the fresh air.
